A channel is routed for the truss rod which is installed under the fingerboard.

The headstock is then shaped.

The fingerboard is planed flat and will be shaped and slotted before it is glued on.

A Floyd Rose style trem is fitted using four different routing templates, including one for the spring cavity in the back.

Small dowels are used to locate the fingerboard for gluing. These will later be covered by the frets.

It is then glued using a caul on top.

Measurements are taken of relief and action. Any adjustments can then be made prior to finishing.
