Jeremy is making a soundhole decoration of mother of pearl surrounded by rosewood and holly rings which are fitted into individual channels first.

Sections of mother of pearl are cut and shaped to fit between the outer rings.

The braces are individually shaped once glued to the front. Here Jeremy is scalloping one of the main X-braces.

Jeremy has sawn out mother-of-pearl shapes and is preparing recesses at the 12th fret to inlay them.
