Instrument details: Ollie Downs - Flamenco guitar

Construction

Ollie scrapes the small rosewood and boxwood strips for the rosette to dimension. The simplest jigs are often the best!

Construction

The rosette's mosaic tiles are cut from the glued and prepared stick. Note how the stick is shaped into a section of a ring rather than a square.
