The outer rings of the decoration are fitted before the central mosaic section.

Having blocked up the neck Martin shapes the heel.

To cut the slots, first holes are drilled and the material between them sawn out.

The fingerboard has been fitted, the neck shaped and the guitar trial strung. Martin is French polishing his guitar.
