Antonio glues the outer herringbone strips.

The central section of the rosette is made of mosaic tiles, cut from a stick Antonio has prepared to give a repeating pattern.

After gluing, the tiles are scraped flush with the front.

Although often done prior to gluing the bridge, drilling the string holes now ensures perfect string alignment on the fingerboard.
